Dr. Kaley Gerstley, LCSW
Kaley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering virtual therapy to clients in New York and New Jersey. Clients typically seek Kaley’s guidance when they feel defeated, anxious, or insecure. Whether they aspire to find happiness, build confidence, or thrive in their lives, Kaley works collaboratively to clarify their goals and transform their aspirations into reality. From understanding their vision for a better life to implementing actionable steps, Kaley is dedicated to helping clients achieve their desired outcomes.
Experienced in addressing a broad spectrum of issues, Kaley often supports individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, poor self-image, life transitions or trauma. Kaley has worked with people from all walks of life, including those who may not fit neatly into conventional diagnostic categories.
Kaley is committed to creating an inclusive environment for those with marginalized identities or non-traditional relationships. She recognizes that seeking help can be a significant step toward healing and is dedicated to providing the support and guidance needed for clients throughout their journey.
She earned her Master’s Degree from Tulane University and Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, and has been working in the mental health field for over a decade. Kaley began her career working as a psychiatric social worker at Bellevue Hospital in NYC. From there, she transitioned to working with people on an outpatient basis at a community mental health clinic on the Lower East Side while simultaneously building her private practice. She also has taught as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice.
